Encyclopedia Page Y Young, Loretta (1/6/1913-8/12/2000): The costar of Lon Chaney's 1928 film, Laugh, Clown, Laugh. The movie did have extreme similarities to Chaney's 1924 film, He Who Gets Slapped, also starring Norma and John Gilbert. MGM held back on the production of the film until enough time had passed from the original release of He Who Gets Slapped. Young, unlike Norma, was only fourteen at the time Laugh was released and later made the comments about her figure in the film, "I had the most divine figure that ever walking in front of a camera, courtesy of the studio." Young, Robert: A popular actor who had a small role in 1932’s Strange Interlude.
