Reviews:

Mordaunt Hall in the New York Times, March 29, 1926: "Norma Shearer impersonates Mary and she gives a highly creditable performance of the girl who never appears to have a wrong thought, but who was the victim of circumstances. Charles Emmett Mack figures as the young man who finally changes his ways. Mr. Mack is resourceful in stretches that might drag, and during most of his scenes he is restrained. Sometimes his beckoning and calling appears to be a little overdone, but a scene in which he provided breakfast for the homeless Mary is filled with charm."
