Reviews:

Photoplay, August, 1924: "Between Bell and Adolphe Menjou, who plays him, the bachelor boulevardier becomes an absorbing character. Menjou invests him with his usual poise and finesse. Norma Shearer does her best work thus far as the slavy who dons fine feathers, and Willard Louis again makes a subordinate figure, of a down and out actor, stand out."

Mordaunt Hall in the New York Times, May 20, 1924: "Monta Bell directed this production which makes it unusually good entertainment. Anna Q. Lilsson is attractive as the aggravating blond. Norma Shearer is sympathetic as the heroine, and although he indulges in too much make up, Edward Burns is acceptable as the callous young schemer. Willard Louis is astonishingly funny as the fat actor in the boarding house."

Notes/Trivia:
The first film in which Norma was directed by Monta Bell, who would direct some of her best, and most artistic silent films.
